We understand your schedule can be busy, which is why we customize our live class schedule to the group of families that register. After you register, we will collect the optimal class times for your family and add 3-6 time slots per week to ensure there is always a class time that works for you.

We can also accommodate time zones around the world.

If you miss a class, no problem! You can register for that same class at another time or play through a high-quality video that covers all the information from class and walks you through that portion of the textbook. Plus, you have 12 months to complete the course so you will have many opportunities to register for live classes.

The Next Generation Science Standards are the most well-developed science standards for K-12 globally. They aren’t perfect (no one-size-fits-all standards are), but they are a great starting point. We combine these standards with what children are curious about, current world events, and practical skills to provide a well-rounded science curriculum that prepares children for anything they might want to pursue. Below is a description of the academic standards we use as a starting point for this course.

The course is completely virtual.

Our live classes are on Zoom with one teacher and a maximum of six students.

The rest of the course is tracked and takes place on this website between live classes. Students will learn from video lessons, guided hands-on activities, printout worksheets, and parent discussions.

The price for Science Course for 2nd graders is $599, though there are over $1300 worth of add-ons with this course.

Tappity safeguards all Zoom sessions with password protection, guaranteeing exclusive access for teachers and students. Furthermore, our meetings are designed for instructor control, empowering teachers—rather than students—with authority over classroom entry and fundamental functionalities like screen sharing and audio/video. This ensures teachers can promptly address any issues that may arise during classes.

No problem! The course is designed to be flexible and self-paced, so there is no inherent deadline to complete the course. The 3-months is a suggested completion time based on the # of classes we offer. Some kids finish more quickly, others take longer.

Given the custom nature of the course, we’ve instituted a limited number of spots, so we can ensure a high degree of personalization and attention for each and every child.

You’ll need a device and an internet connection fast enough for Zoom and streaming online videos. Other than that, there is no special equipment.
